A skilfully executed watercolour depicting two boys playing marbles on a rocky beach with the sea in the distance.
In good condition with a little foxing to the edges which doesn’t really show.
Housed in a gilded wooden frame.
The painting without frame measures 48cm X 34cm

James Hardy Junior (1832-1889) was a painter and watercolourist from Bristol. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1862 and 1886, as well as at the British Institution, Suffolk Street, and at the New Watercolour Society. The artist became an associate of the New Watercolour Society in 1874 and was made a full member in 1877.
