Silver Jardiniere with Glass Liner

A late 19th Century German solid silver jardinier of oval form with classical swag and column decoration.

With twin linked handles, lion paw feet and a vacant cartouche to the centre.

It is in absolutely perfect condition with the 800 silver mark and a makers mark showing a crown over the letters SR and likely to be Simon Roseau.

This is a beautiful and classical piece, heavy and substantial.
