Regency Folding Games Table

An exceptional Regency rosewood games table with a fold-over top with gadrooned edges. .
When opened, the hinged top swivels on the base to form a games table for chess, backgammon, draughts and cribbage.
The top is inlaid with burr walnut, rosewood and ebony and is supported on a square pillar which culminates on four scrolled feet.
It makes a very good and sturdy side table when closed.
The central pillar allows for good player leg room.

When opened to form a games table the width is 70cm and the depth 34cm
