In very good original condition and finely detailed with a label verso which reads, “Victor Baird, A popular painter of poultry who worked in Paris and London at the end of the 19th Century and exhibited 14 times at the Society of Painters in Oils in London. On panel and fully signed”

It is a lovely little detailed painting that shows well on a small easel or on the wall.
