Oil on Canvas, Still Life by Alfred Blundell (1883-1968)

An enchanting oil on canvas of a still life showing a bowl of fruit and oriental pottery, by Alfred Blundell, whoo was born in 1883.

In very good condition and in original frame which has been gilded but aged in a good way that has left it with a patina which complements the picture.

He has shown his work at the Royal Academy, the New English Arts Club, The Alpine Club Gallery and extensively in the provinces.  Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, other provincial museums, Luxembourg, Paris hold his work.
