French Carriage Clock with Repeat Striking Mechanism. Circa 1880

A beautiful late 19th C French 8-day brass carriage clock with floral pierced front plate and silvered dial.

With a casing by Mackay & Chisholm of Edinburgh.

The clock has a gentle tick and chimes on the half hour with a mellow and soft chime. The repeat mechanism repeats the last chime. A video is available if required.

The clock is in excellent working condition, keeping good time and with no chips or cracks to the glass.

Provided with its key, the clock is 19cm high. with handle upraised.
