Chinese Porcelain Jardinière

A very beautiful and vibrant Chinese jardiniere with allover enamelling portraying figures in exotic scenery with birds and foliage.

The side panels are set with foliage , butterflies and birds

There are no chips or cracks. There are two small sections on one side panel where there is a loss of enamel. However, it is not chipped off but looks as though the enamel was not present before firing the piece.

It does no’t detract from the piece at all. See photos.

We estimate the piece to be from 1880-1910.
