19th Century Oil on Canvas of A Scottish Lady

This is a lovely oil on canvas of a Scottish lady.Circa 1860
Housed in the original frame, and originating in Dundee Scotland, it bears the framer’s ticket verso.
It has been framed under glass which has preserved the painting in its original condition.
There is no visible signature, although one might be found on the edge of the canvas and covered by the frame. However, I was unhappy about taking it out of the frame to check.

Peaceful and pleasing to the eye

The framed painting measures 54cm X 46cm.  Actual painting measures 35cm X 28cm
