Pair of Regency Giltwood Wall Sconces, ca 1820

SOLD. 8-Day Wall Clock by K Aldous & Co, London. Ca 1870

A good 19th Century wall clock by K. Aldous & Co of 31 King St, Boro’. (This street in The Borough, London, was re-named Newcomen Street in 1881 so this clock would pre-date that.)

The clock has an 8 day duration fusee movement and an un-restored dial with blackened steel hands. Encased in mahogany with a brass bezel, this clock is in very good condition and has the original key.

It works well and keeps good time.
