Copper Measuring Jugs of Large Proportion

A set of 5 early Victorian copper measuring jugs, ranging from 4 Gallon capacity to 1 Pint.

Each is stamped with the relevant assize marks and some bear the Maker’s mark.

The set comprises the following capacity jugs: 4 Gallon; 2 Gallon; 1 Gallon, ½ Gallon, 1 Pint.

These are often referred to as Harvest Jugs as they were used during harvest to bring cider or ale to the workers in the field.

All are fully intact and in good condition. commensurate with their age and use.
