18th Century German Tobacco Box.
A brass German tobacco box of oval rectangular form. It is relief decorated with scenes from the “Seven Years War” and is probably the work of Johann Griese of Iserlohn.
Ca 1780
There is some rubbing to the decoration commensurate with age but still readable.
The piano hinge is in good condition.
