Still Life Oil on Canvas by Mathilde Winker (1881-1968)

A still life by Mathilde Winker which is very finely painted depicting a table laden with a profusion of fruit, a wine flask and glasses etc.

Framed in the original highly decorative wooden and gilt gesso frame with no obvious losses.

The canvas is in very good condition with no damage or paint losses.

Mathilde Winker was an Austrian artist and a few of her works have come up for sale in the last few years. She is clearly not a prolific artist but was clearly very talented.

The actual canvas measures 69cm X 56cm. Circa 1900-1920
