Scottish Gilt Metal Cigar Box in the Form of a Book
A very ornate and fabulous gilt metal cigar box in the form of a book.
It is cedar lined and extravagantly decorated all over with thistles and foliage.
The clasp fits tightly so that it would be possible to use it for cigars or any other use.
There is a maker’s mark in the form of a dog but I am unable to identify it. A beautiful item which weighs 1.6 kgs. Would make a wonderful gift
