Italian Religious Tryptic in Oak Frame

A large, 19th Century Italian tryptic with prints of religious scenes behind glass on both sides of the panels. Framed in oak with heavy brass hinges, the prints are highly detailed with gilded decoration and all in very good condition. Circa 1890.

No doubt it would have once hung in a church or monastery.

The tryptic width over all when opened measures 130cm.   When closed it measures 64cm across.
