Japanese Bronze and Champlevé enamelled Hexagonal Vase, ca 1900.

A very unusual Japanese bronze hexagonal vase decorated all over with champlevé enamel aoi mon (blue gate), with twin oni mask and tassel shoulder handles and standing on tripod feet.

There is some internal corrosion at the base, however it is treated and not visible from the outside, Iit is a very attractive and unusual piece.
