A very decorative sectioned wall mirror in the Baroque style.
Probably Italian from around 1840, there is a recessed central mirror plate surrounded by further mirrored plates, all within a gilded ormolu frame which is decorated all over with flora.
The outer frame is made from gesso and is coloured to resemble hardwood.
This has been a difficult piece to photograph, and its important to add that there is no damage to any off the mirrors apart from some very small age related marks to a couple of the pieces.
This is a beautiful piece which could embellish many types of interior.
