A really beautifully executed 19th Century Italian oil on canvas depicting The Madonna and Child. Inscribed verso “Madonna col Bambino” and indistinctly signed.
Housed in the original gilded wooden frame, this oil painting has been cleaned and relined.
We found this painting in its original very dirty condition and it has been through professional restoration. After seeing it restored we were delighted at the result and felt quite emotional.
The actual canvas itself measures 60cm X 43cm.
