Georama Illuminated Globe. Early 1930s

A very large Illuminated 19″ diameter globe by the English maker, Georama, standing on a bakelite base.

It shows countries and principal cities/towns. We believe it was produced between 1930-1935, demonstrated by Persia being shown instead of Iran, re-named in 1935.

It’s generally in very good condition with a few minor age and use related losses.

It looks spectacular when lit.
