A 19th century bronze of a female classical figure entitled “La Reverie” after Pierre Traveau (1822-1869) which is engraved on the piece.
The woman holds a scroll in her hand which bears astrological symbols and she appears to be deep in thought.
It is a highly detailed and beautifully executed piece which is heavy, weighing 2.9kg.
