Early 18th Century Walnut Chest-on-Chest

An early figured walnut chest on chest which is probably Queen Anne period (1702-1714).

The upper section has a cavetto cornice above three short drawers and three long feather and cross banded graduated drawers.

The base is fitted with three further long matching drawers, the whole fitted with brass batwing escutcheons and raised on later (19th Century) bracket feet.

This piece has an exceptional patina and in good order with the drawers all moving easily.
