Chinese 18th Century Bamboo Pipe

An unusual Chinese bamboo pipe with its bowl modelled as a figure holding his hands over his face.
This piece is from the collection of Trevor Barton (1920-2008) who was was known as “The Pipe Man”.

He collected pipes and smoking accoutrement over 50 years and was reputed to have the finest collection in the world.
