Brass Carriage Clock by Charles Frodsham & Co
This brass carriage clock known as the “Pompadour” by Charles Frodsham & Co has a white enamel dial with the chapters painted in Roman numerals.
The enamel dial is masked by a pierced fretwork design in lacquered brass. It has an 8-day movement which would have been hand-built by the Company’s craftsmen.
All in good condition with no chips or cracks to the bevelled crystal glass side and top panels.
It has subsequently been cleaned and keeps very good time. Original key present.
