Antique French Silver plated Altar Candlesticks

A pair of early 19th Century French silver plated altar candlesticks.

Made in the Gothic style with knobbed stems over scrolling triform bases. Each has a cartouche with French script.

There has been an old repair to the top of one stick which is only noticeable if you look very closely.

They are charming and look spectacular on a dining table.
