Antique Copper Tray from South Western Railways, 1st Class

A copper tray with brass handles and a good patina. It bears the engraved initials S.W.R. for the South Western Railways and the number 1 to indicate 1st class.

This tray would have been used late 19th and early 20th Century in one of the dining cars.

The tray has a couple of dents commensurate with age and use. The tray length measurement not including the handles is 35cm

A pleasing and stylish piece.
