A pair of brass Coaching Lamps, 1870
A good pair of coaching lamps from 19th Century which are in their original and extremely good condition. They are stamped Botwood, Ipswich and are marked “patented”
The company of Botwood was established as carriage builders on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich in 1870. When founder William Botwood died in 1896 his two sons, Samuel and William, carried on the business.
