17th Century Carved Oak Bible Box

A lovely 17th Century oak bible box with chip carved ends, a carved frieze and original iron lock plate.

It has a beautiful patina and is in original condition. There is a split on the bottom of the box which we have left as we feel it is commensurate with its age and use.

Overall, the condition is very good. A very attractive piece.
