A lovely French carriage clock by Richard & Co, Paris,
\nThe case with applied decoration and engine turned pilasters flanking the white enamel Roman dial.
\nIt has a visible platform escapement for a single barrel going eight day movement. The back plate is stamped R&Co, Made in Paris.
\nIn very good condition and keeping good time. It has the original key.

Richard et Cie started in Paris in 1848 and added a London branch (Richard & Co) in 1867.
