Prior to that it has possibly had some over painting and a generous coat of lacquer.<br \/>\nFor its age, the painting is in very good condition with no losses.<br \/>\nWe have had it very lightly cleaned and we are delighted with the results.<br \/>\nIt is a beautiful piece of 17th century art.<br \/>\nThe canvas itself measures 58cm X 48cm.
