He wears a robe which is gilded and carries a staff with a sheep lying at his feet.<\/p>\n<p>It is in very good condition commensurate with age with just two fingers which have lost their tips, otherwise, there are no other losses, apart from some small paint losses.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly there on no paint losses to the face.  There is a separate wooden stand which is possibly 19th century which the statue stands on. <\/p>\n<p>The whole has a fabulous patina, is of a good size and there are no signs of previous restoration. circa 1680-1700<\/p>\n<p>The statue itself measures 30cm tall and 15cm at its widest.
