The bowls (Circa 1820) are very substantial, thick and heavy with stylised foliate and geometric patterns  on lozenge shaped feet.  <\/p>\n<p>They  measure 21cm wide X 12cm depth X 16cm tall.  <\/p>\n<p>The salts which we believe are slightly later (circa1880) measure 8cm wide X 5cm depth X 7cm tall. <\/p>\n<p>All the pieces are in exceptional condition for their age with no chips or cracks and with a very interesting provenance.<\/p>\n<p>PROVENANCE: These pieces were originally sold at Christies, London on 26-27 January 2006,  Lot 444. They were included with items from the estate of His Royal Highness, The Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester, KG, KT, KP. (1900-1974) He was the son of George V and Queen Mary.
