About this piece

A fabulous pair of 19th Century old Sheffield plate pedestal wine coolers in the form of campagna urns with applied reeded handles attached by acanthus leaves and removable liners with push-fit rims. They are both engraved with armorials of a boars head and scroll decoration to the rims. In very good condition with absolutely no plate loss or dents. They are heavy and substantial.
