Antique Copper Twin Handled Poissonniére.

A very large 19th Century English made copper poissonniére/fish kettle. It's difficult to demonstrate in the photos just how big this piece is. It weighs 8.5 kgs and was designed as a good working piece, thus reinforced at the base . The handles are properly black-smithed and there is an indistinct mark (HOT CEC) which could indicate that it was a hotel piece.
It is in good condition commensurate with age.
It makes a fabulous centre piece. See pictures.
