About this piece

A 19th Century cased music Box with a 6 inch cylinder playing 8 airs and striking on 3 bells. There is a stop/start and change/repeat function.
It plays beautifully and quite loudly with mechanism being in very good condition.
The rosewood casing is in nice condition with satinwood stringing and a marquetry floral spray to the lid. This is one of the best examples that we have come across.
